Еще каких-то пару десятков лет назад монополистами на автомобильном рынке были японские немецкие и американские автомобили, итальянцы для избранных, французы для узкого круга энтузиастов, а корейских автомобилей и вовсе боялись, считая их не надежными. Сегодня же ситуация кардинально изменилась, лидеры рынка -это корейцы, и никто уже не сомневается в их надежности, такая же картина начинает вырисовываться и с китайскими автомобилями, от которых еще совсем недавно шарахались как от огня. Сегодня же китайские марки вышли совсем на другой уровень, они наступают на пятки крупнейшим автоконцернам и уже не уступают им ни в цене ни в качестве ни в надежности, ни в безопасности, может пройти совсем немного времени и стереотип о сомнительной надежности китайских автомобилей может и вовсе растаять, а при упоминании китайской марки будут примерно те же ассоциации как сегодня при упоминании корейской. Один из таких автомобилей это Haval H6, китайская заявка на премиум и с этим надо считаться. По мнению китайских инженеров и еще многих людей, это прямой конкурент Mitsubishi Outlander или Nissan X-Trail. Еще один хороший китайский автомобиль это Faw Besturn X80, Среднеразмерный городской кроссовер построен на платформе Mazda6 первого поколения. Следующий качественный автомобиль из поднебесной это Changan Raeton, конкурирующий не с кем-нибудь, а с самой Toyota Camry. Альтернативой «Кэмри», по образу и подобию которой «китаец» и создавался, этот автомобиль вполне может быть. Далее шикарный китайский автомобиль Geely Emgrand GT. Ещё один доступный представитель автомобильного бизнес-сообщества. Следующий автомобиль который собрался конкурировать на рынке с Toyota Highlander (хайлэндэр) или KIA Sorento Prime Киа Соренто Прайм Haval H8 еще один представитель китайского бизнес класса. Ну и старшая модель Haval H9. Есть среди китайцев и модели попроще, которые не заставят преодолевать психологический барьер в один миллион рублей. Например Haval H2 или Chery Tiggo 5.

In this video im restoring an antique Stanley hand plane.

My friend has found this very old Stanley hand plane at the steel waste. When I saw it the first time at his place I wanted to restore it immediately, so I bought it for $10. This Stanley no. 122 hand plane was manufactured from 1877 until 1918, its at least 101 years old. This plane is from the „liberty bell“ series, they were first produced in 1876 to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the American Declaration of Independence (1776). Thats the reason why the liberty bell is imprinted on the lever cap.
As Im not a woodworker at all and Ive never used a hand plane before in my life, I had to do a lot of research how this thing even works to understand the function of each part. It turned out that the iron and the backing iron were assembled wrongly and there was also one part missing, which holds both of these parts together. As the iron was an original Stanley part, it wasnt the correct one for this plane. The bigger hole in the slot was on the wrong end, thats why I made a new one.
I tried to keep as many parts as possible original on this restoration. I only replaced two small screws, made the missing part and a new iron.
