Добрый день друзья. В этом ролике новый Урал грузовик на метане мы покажем Вам самосвал Урал с новой кабиной и Урал с газовым мотором ЯМЗ 536, это Вам не Урал 4320 с ЯМЗ 238!
На сегодняшний день на автомобили Урал серийно устанавливаются двигатели ЯМЗ 65654 и ЯМЗ 536, на машины Урал 6370 устанавливаются моторы ЯМЗ 653. К сожалению, легендарный Урал ямз 238 мы уже не увидим, т.к. данный мотор не отвечает экологическим требованиям действующим в настоящее время.
Новый Урал самосвал, представленный на выставке имел очень интересный экстерьер, как утверждал Николай, представитель завода, машина похожа на Рено. Кабина Урал к сожалению, оказалась запертой, и мы не смогли по достоинству оценить внутренний интерьер.
Машина Урал представленная на выставке на мой взгляд является реинкарнацией Урал 63685. Бескапотный Урал производился до 2008 года, после кризиса у завода наступили не лучшие времена и производство машины тогда прекратили. Тогда автомобиль также производился на китайских мостах и отличался от представленного образца по большому счету только внешним видом кабины.
Также сегодня завод продолжает изготавливать Урал 6370 с колесной формулой 6х6. Этот автомобиль имеет двигатель Урал ЯМЗ 653 мощностью 420 л.с. изготовленный в Ярославле по лицензии компании Рено.
Хочется верить, что новый грузовик Урал не постигнет та же участь что и его предшественника в 2008 году. А завод Урал потеснит производство КАМАЗов и Миасские грузовики в народе тоже будут называть Урал батыр!
Рядом с бескапотным автомобилем на стенде завода красовались грузовые автомобили Урал 4320, но уже с представкой некст. Один из автомобилей Урал на метане второй Урал некст 6х6 с разнесенной рамой и манипулятором.
Урал некст самосвал имел двойную топливную систему. Автомобиль был оборудован баллонами со сжатым метаном и криососуд с сжиженным метаном.
Второй автомобиль Урал 4320 выделялся своей разнесенной базой до 5 метров, напомню, что в штатном исполнении автомобиль имеет базу не более 4700 мм. Также Урал бортовой был оборудован Крано манипуляторной установкой.
К сожалению автомобиль Урал некст 6х4 представленный на выставке был с подкрылками, прикрученными на саморезы. Судя по внешнему виду саморезы строительные обычные, острия торчат. Ролик постарались сделать не предвзятый и показать вам тягач Урал как он есть со всеми на наш взгляд внешними недостатками.
На этой выставке не был представлен грузовой Урал вахтовка. Хотя автомобиль Урал 3255 традиционно пользуется спросом.
Также мы не увидели седельный тягач Урал с новой бескапотной кабиной или кабиной Урал некст.

In this video im restoring an antique ox-tongue iron.
The ox-tongue iron is named for the particular shape of the insert. It was used in the late 19th century.
I bought this one on eBay for $25. The condition of this item was not too bad in terms of rust. Unfortunately the ox-tongue insert was missing. The handle had play because one nut of the two bolts was missing. During the dissasembling I realized that it had asbestos as termal isolation, I replaced it with parts made out of duroplastic. Duroplastic does not melt, its heat resistant up to around 300°C. As the holes of the handle were not centered, I decided to drill them up and close them with glued in pins. One of the two bolts of the handle was bent, one nut and washer was missing and the used washer was too big. Thats why I decided to make it all new. The door didnt fit at all, so I welded up the holes, and made new ones until the door sit flush with the top of the iron. After that I was able to make the outer contur fit. I choose to turn a few parts black. After the first sandblasting I removed all the scratches and pitting with sanding and then I sandblasted them again to achieve a very nice and even surface finish. The bluing then makes a very nice matte shiny look. I decided to polish the body, but I used bluing on the inside for rust protection.
Overall I really like the look from this iron, how the colors of the wood, the black steel and the polished steel play with eachother.

In this video im restoring an old broken and rusty Padlock.
This Padlock was sent to me by one of my subsrcibers from Italy. Right when I saw the picture I knew I want to restore this lock and I was impatiently waiting for the package to arrive. I found out that his padlock was made in Germany by Kamp in the 1930s. The lock was very rusty, the key was missing and it seemed to be broken. It was also very rusty inside, all moving parts were stuck and the closing mechanism was broken. Due to the amount of damage on the case due to rust I decided to paint it. This way I can use filler to achieve a nice finish, otherwise Id had to sand all pitting off and there was just not enough material left to do so. The plates from the mechanism were damaged a lot too, but they were all still functional. So I only removed all sharp edges and gave them a nice bluing finish for rust protection. The aluminium part, where the key comes in was damaged a lot too and had a lot of play in the case. If I would sand it clean it would get even more play. For those reasons I decided to make a new one, I choose bronze because it would fit better to the overall look at the end. Making the key was quite a challenge, but it turned out very well and it actually worked. In my opinion the padlock turned out very well and Im very happy with the endresult.

The A-10 Thunderbolt is also known as the Warthog, the ‘flying gun’ and the Tankbuster.
The A-10 is a high-survivability and versatile aircraft, popular with pilots for the ‘get home’ effectiveness.
The mission of the aircraft is ground attack against tanks, armoured vehicles and installations, and close air support of ground forces.
The A-10 is suitable for operation from forward air bases, with short take-off and landing capability. The aircraft has a long range (800 miles), high endurance and can loiter in the battle area.
The manoeuvrability at low speed and low altitude (below 1,000ft) allows accurate and effective targeting and weapon delivery over all types of terrain.
The GAU-8/A 30mm Gatlin gun iis installed on the U.S. Air Force’s A-10 Thunderbolt II aircraft and the Navy’s Goalkeeper Close-In Weapon System. The GAU-8/A provides a reliable, high-rate-of-fire, combat-proven weapon for close air support and shipboard defense missions.
Each of the gun’s seven barrels contains its own breech bolt assembly, which fires once per gun revolution. This ensures long barrel life because firing loads are distributed over all seven barrels. Continuous rotary motion reduces impact loads on gun components, leading to long parts life and high reliability.
The A-10 aircraft is specifically designed to provide close air support. The GAU-8/A gun provides rapid response to threats that are in close proximity to friendly ground forces and is well suited for engagements inside missile envelopes.
In the Goalkeeper application, the GAU-8/A fires a lethal, high-kinetic-energy 30mm Missile-Piercing Discarding Sabot round.

Well, This Katana took me too long to make and this was not easy to make it such perfect. Alot of People asked me to make Katana so i tried my best to make a perfect Katana Sword as i can.
All the Processes are below of making this beautiful KATANA:
Forging:
It took me almost three days to hand forge an Iron Chain piece into a long Metal Strip and this was one of my hardest forging ever. I dont have a power hammer so i did all the forging with hands and turned a chain piece into an almost 33 — 34 inches long steel strip.
Grinding:
I started some rough grindings of long strip on my Belt sander and turned the strip into a Katana shaped long steel piece. I also hand sanded the edges with the help of file to remove almost all the roughness of the sword.
o. I made the Blood Groove with the help of rotary grinder.
o. The blade bevel was made by my professional angle grinder.
o. Hand Sanded the blade to remove roughness.
Hardness:
There is a professional way to harden a Katana and that is
Covering the whole sword in a Fire Clay (Insulation) Except the blade bevel.After that we put the sword into the fire and heat it to critical temperature. We use oil to Quench the heated sword in it. Now the Bevel is hard and the remaining sword is annealed. Tempering the blade is the best way to increase the Strength, Hardness and Toughness of the sword.
Hibaki:
This piece is traditionally made by forging some copper or brass but we can also make it by casting these metals. And the purpose of hibaki is to hold the Sheath with the handle.
Handle:
The Handle contains three parts.
o. GUARD: I made the guard by using a thick brass sheet, which is roundly turned into a beautiful metal piece that can show a partition between the handle and the remaining sword.
o. Spacer: This is the little metal piece which fits on tang and controls the fittings of the whole handle so nothing should vibrate in handle.
o. Wood: A nice piece of wood uses as a handle of the sword and that could be Wrapped by some soft (leather) strips.
